Writing Workshop

On May 20, 2024, the Café com Agroecologia extension project, in partnership with the Postgraduate Program in Agroecology and the Agroecological Field Education Center (ECOA), promoted a scientific writing workshop with Professor Dr. Arne Jansssen, Doctor in Ecology and Dr. Honoris Causa, from UFV, which is part of the University of Amsterdam, and was previously a supervisor at PPGAGC, is currently a researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Entomology at UFV.

The workshop aimed to discuss the elaboration, writing, structuring and methodological approaches of academic texts, in particular, articles and publications normally accepted at scientific events, such as Symposia and Congresses. Through this workshop, it is expected to promote the strengthening of the collective mobilization of participation of UFV students in the X Latin American Congress of Agroecology, which will take place at the University of Asunción, in Paraguay, on November 23rd to 25th, 2024.

The workshop was attended by 44 people and generated many reflections on the form of academic writing. We thank everyone who participated in this important moment for the popularization of science and the counter-hegemonic perspective of agroecology, we wish you good writing towards Paraguay and many other good related events, which will take place in the near future.
