The Globo Rural program TV presented a special report on seed guardians in Rio Pomba, in the Zona da Mata Mineira

On August 11, 2024, Globo Rural presented a special report on the guardians of native seeds in Rio Pomba, in the Zona da Mata Mineira region. It refers to the research of Camila Raimunda Carvalho dos Santos, a graduate of the Postgraduate Program in Agroecology at UFV, and her advisor Professor Irene Maria Cardoso, carried out in the Coelhos Community and in Bom Jardim. The dissertation entitled “Native Seeds Cared for by Peasant Farmers.” was defended by Camila in April of this year.
