Publication of the SIMPA 2019 e-book

The Graduate Program in Agroecology of the Federal University of Viçosa, just released the book (e-book) “Pesquisa em Agroecologia: conquistas e perspectivas” (Research in Agroecology: conquests and perspectives, in English).

» The work brings themes presented by professors, family farmers, undergaduate and graduate students in the Graduate Symposium in Agroecology (Simpósio de Pós-graduação em Agroecologia, SIMPA-UFV) from 2012 to 2018.

» There are 23 chapters that cover themes related to the three areas of research within the Graduate Program in Agroecology at UFV:

1) Management of Tropical Agroecosystems 

2) Agrifood Systems of Family Farmers

3) Physical Processes, Biogeochemicals and Resource Dynamics in Agroecosystems

» The academic scientific production is one of the fundamental axes of the University in its contribution to society and with this vision, the Graduate Program in Agroecology at UFV, promotes SIMPA since 2012.

» This book will be an opportunity for everyone to get to know the themes presented, as well as the experiences and research shared by the speakers.
