LETTER LAUNCH: Public Policies and Agroecology: a vision from the UFV Graduate Program in Agroecology

The Graduate Program in Agroecology at the Federal University of Viçosa (PPGAGC/UFV) has launched the booklet “Public Policies and Agroecology: a view from the Graduate Program in Agroecology at the Federal University of Viçosa”. The publication, organized by graduates Isabela Fredes de Freitas, Nayara Cristina Pereira, Luana de Pádua Soares e Figueiredo and Silvia Oliveira Lopes, and by Professor and programme coordinator Raphael Bragança Alves Fernandes, reflects on the role of public policies in strengthening agroecology in Brazil.

The publication was made possible with the financial support of the Minas Gerais State Research Foundation (FAPEMIG), the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), reaffirming the commitment of these institutions to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge.

The booklet will be available for free access and download on the PPGAGC/UFV website, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and encouraging debate on the construction of public policies that strengthen agroecology in Brazil.
